Our business support is tailored to you and your business’s needs
- We are a team of 11 and, between us, bring a breadth of experience and skills to the table. We know that different personalities and ways of working require different types of support, as well as particular skills for certain tasks. This is why, when you have your discovery meeting, this is with a member of our management team, who will discuss with you the sort of support you need and then they can consider the team member we think would be a great fit for you and your business.
- We give a lot of thought to the process of matching your business with the right VA, but of course we don’t always get it right or you may find your needs change and you require a different skillset. No problem. Your agreement is with Clear Day, not the individual VA, so we can make a change for you.
You have the back-up of a whole team
- Because we are a large team, we can look to get cover for you if your VA is on holiday. As you are not relying on one VA only, you have the back-up of the management team. Your log-ins are stored centrally, securely, meaning another member of the team could pick up the work quickly.
- We can also have another VA give advice or support on a particular task you may have; for example we have our resident tech specialist VA, we have experts in data manipulation, spreadsheets and many more.
- Our VA team acts as a kind of hive mind! They ask each other questions and advice and that wealth of knowledge across the team can solve almost any problem that arises.
The management team is here for you
- Because your agreement is with Clear Day, not a VA directly, if you have any issues, you just come to us and we’ll sort it. Any tricky conversations, any issues with a mistake having been made, we’ll deal with it.
- We will regularly check in with you to make sure the support you’re receiving continues to meet your business’s needs. If you have a change in your business coming up, if you think your business support needs may change, we’re always happy to chat about it with you.
You avoid the stress and cost of employing someone
- When you employ someone directly, there are costs and other considerations to factor in, on top of that person’s salary, such as pension, National Insurance, recruitment costs, holiday and sick pay, insurance, etc. All of these considerations are taken care of by Clear Day, so you don’t need to worry.
- You don’t need to be a line manager. We do that for you. Bring any issues to the management team and we’ll deal with them.
- We ensure our VAs are insured and registered with the ICO, if they’re sick we can provide cover and you can change VA if required.

- When you’re a client of Clear Day, you’re automatically eligible to join the Organised Entrepreneurs Club, an exclusive networking group set up solely for the clients of our founder, coach Helen Calvert, accountant Caroline Boardman and Clear Day. The OEC has over 250 members from a wealth of different businesses. The friendly, supportive group has led to the blossoming of many a friendship and business relationship.
You are not tied into long contracts
- We want to see you grow. We understand if your business needs change and you decide to move on. We require only a month’s notice.
- Sometimes clients move on because they decide to employ a member of staff rather than using freelance staff. We can help with the transition process.
Your data is safe
- All of our VAs are registered with the Information Commissioners’ Office, required under Data Protection and GDPR legislation.
- All of your files worked on by us are backed up securely.
- Clear Day uses paid-for password-protection software, recommended to us by our IT providers as the most secure way of storing your passwords. So you know your passwords will be protected, and not shared via other methods. Only those team-members working on your account can access your passwords.
- Our password software also alerts us to any breaches, which we will then bring to your attention. It also tells us if passwords are not strong enough and we can advise you accordingly.
- We proactively manage, detect and respond to any possible malicious activity in the work we store for you. To provide even more peace of mind, our work is fully insured against data breach.
Flexible pricing
- Prices can be at a set figure or charged per hour. As a guide, our prices start from £32+ VAT per hour.
