The podcast that I launched in May 2021 is now up to its 22nd episode, and I have only one more episode of this first set yet to publish. Once that episode goes live on Tuesday 15 February, what are my plans for The No Bullsh*t Guide To A Happier Life?
I am very happy to confirm that I have every intention of continuing with the podcast – I have loved every minute of it so far and the feedback has been amazing. So for the next set of 20 or so episodes, I am going to be focusing on an idea that I outlined in episode 17 – life’s toolkit.
There are so many activities that can support our mental and physical health, so many ways we can meet our needs and so many people promoting one particular hobby as the answer to all of your overwhelm. If you have listened to the original episode you will know that I am a fan of using the right tool for the right problem, and having a lot of different tools in my “kit”. With that in mind, my next set of podcast episodes will be looking at different activities and exploring how they can contribute to a happier life, when it might be appropriate to use them, and are there any bullsh*t elements to navigate?
I will be looking at all kinds of self-care options, from laughter yoga to weight training, journaling to cooking, and will be reporting back in my usual no BS style.
Running a business, being a parent, or simply existing in this world throws up challenges every day, and if we are going to get to where we want to be in life we need as many tools as possible to keep ourselves healthy, happy and making progress. As ever, the suggestions won’t necessarily be easy but we will look at a wide range of activities that can help you to squeeze every last drop of enjoyment out of life.
There is no need to be stuck in a rut. Let 2022 be the year you gather your tools and face your challenges. With excessive kindness, of course. Make sure you are following the podcast here.
