Welcome to episode 21. Today we follow on from my last episode on fear and anxiety and take a closer look at how other people’s fears can have a negative effect on our personal growth.

Fear is often routed in the feeling of not belonging or the fear of change, and although often coming from a place of love and protection, these comments and behaviours impressed on us by our society and, even more commonly by our family and friends, can be detrimental to us if we don’t see them for what they are and respond to them in the right way. Listen in if you’re wanting to grow and change but other people’s fears are holding you back from reaching your full potential.

In this episode:

  • How we can recognise the affects other people’s fears have on us for what they really are.
  • Exposing the common phrases people use that give their fears away.
  • The boundaries you might need to enforce to keep yourself playing bigger.
  • How switching focus away from yourself and talking about fears can open up healthy conversations about personal growth.
